The following paper is a review of the book by E. Ungureanu “Dincolo de text: HYPERTEXTUL” (2014) which contains a deep linguistic analysis of the conceptual text – intertext – hypertext triad. In this hardback edition, the author gives rise to a theoretical discussion of the afore-mentioned concepts and suggests making them the main ones in the general theory of the text. E. Ungureanu believes that it will help open new areas of linguistic study which could be termed as “intertextology” and “hypertextology”.
