Abstract

The article represents a synthesis of basic assumptions from the theory and practice of translation as well as the author’s point of view on the above mentioned area. The author asserts that translation is multileveled and requires interactive elements refering to the levels of thought, semantics and aesthetics.

REZUMAT

Articolul înglobează atât o sinteză a postulatelor de bază ale teoriei şi practicii traducerii, cât şi o explicitare a punctului de vedere al autorului asupra domeniilor în cauză. Se valorifică ideia că traducerea este întotdeauna un demers stratificat, plurinivelar, care pune în aplicare elemente interactive, raportate nivelelor gândirii, semanticii şi esteticii.
