L’argot français : tendances et reconfigurations sémiolinguistiques

Abstract

The present article tries to attack the problem of slang from several perspectives – semio-tic, linguistic, textual, in order to reveal the current dimensions of this rather complex and fertile semiotic subsystem of the contemporary French language, starting with the history of its emergence, its evolution and the secret springs of its cryptology and ending with its current trends. Does slang remain as esoteric a subsystem as it was originally conceived, or are there mutations taking place that would reduce the original differences? These current concerns deserve to be discussed in the hope of bringing more clarity or opening other horizons (why not other issues?) of research in this area.

REZUMAT

Prezentul articol încearcă să atace problematica argoului din mai multe perspective – semiotică,  lingvistică, textuală, pentru a dezvălui dimensiunile actuale ale acestui subsistem semiotic destul de complex și fertil al limbii franceze contemporane, începând cu istoria apariției sale, evoluția și resorturile secrete ale criptologiei sale și terminând cu tendințele sale actuale. Cercetarea are drept punct de pornire încercarea de a răspunde la întrebarea, dacă argoul rămâne un subsistem la fel de esoteric, precum a fost conceput în varianta sa inițială sau el suferă mutații care ar reduce din diferențele inițiale? Aceste preocupări actuale merită să fie supuse discuțiilor în speranța de a aduce mai multă claritate sau de a deschide alte orizonturi (de ce nu alte probleme?) de cercetare în acest domeniu.
