Die Rolle der Phonetikübungen im Fremdsprachenunterricht

Abstract

Audio recordings are an important support for the language teacher, being a special contribution to the process of learning the correct pronunciation of the foreign language. As the practice of teaching with audio materials shows, one should not expect much from a self-correction of learners. Research has confirmed that errors in the intonation and articulation of learners are corrected only to a very small extent with the help of magnetic tapes, audio cassettes or CDs. The active contribution of the teacher, the constant correction of the students' mistakes, the active contact with the class are basic conditions for achieving the teaching objective. Although it can be concluded that the form of error control in pronunciation exercises is best done by the teacher, he should not give up on audio recordings, since the student must be offered authentic speech patterns.

REZUMAT

Ȋnregistrările audio sunt un suport important pentru profesorul de limbi străine, putând aduce o contribuție deosebită ȋn procesul de ȋnvățare a  pronunției corecte a limbii străine. După cum arată practica de predare cu materiale audio, nu ar trebui să se aștepte prea mult de la o auto-corecție a cursanților. Cercetarea a confirmat că erorile în intonația și articularea cursanților sunt corectate doar într-o foarte mică măsură cu ajutorul benzilor magnetice, casetelor audio sau CD-urilor. Contribuția activă a profesorului, corectarea constantă a greșelilor elevilor, contactul activ cu clasa sunt condiții de bază pentru atingerea obiectivului didactic. Deși se poate trage concluzia că forma de control al erorilor în exercițiile de pronunție este realizata cel mai bine de către profesor,  acesta nu ar trebui să renunțe la ȋnregistrările audio, deoarece elevului trebuie să i se ofere modele autentice de vorbire.
