Abstract

This analysis examines the legacy of American slavery through the figure of Sartdji, highlighting the dynamics of memory and resilience that shape contemporary struggles for social justice. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the study draws on the concepts of collective memory, cultural resilience, and post-colonial struggles to explore how the legacy of slavery continues to impact modern societies. First, the analysis traces the foundations of the American slavery system and the forms of silent resistance, embodied by figures like Sartdji, who defy structures of dehumanization. Next, the research explores the erasure of this heroine from dominant history and the need to rehabilitate her memory within the current struggles for equality and reconciliation. Finally, the study shows that Sartdji represents a living and dynamic memory, used as a tool of resistance in contemporary struggles for social justice. It concludes by emphasizing the importance of reintegrating these forgotten memories into the historical narrative to promote genuine reconciliation and social transformation. Future perspectives suggest a deeper exploration of reconciliation processes and invisible forms of resistance, which are essential to understanding contemporary issues related to racial and social inequalities.

REZUMAT

În articol, supunem cercetării memoria sclaviei americane prin intermediul chipului Sartdji, evidenţiind dinamica acesteia şi a rezilienţei care modelează luptele contemporane pentru justiţia socială. Fiind o abordare multidisciplinară, studiul se mai bazează şi pe conceptele de rezilienţă culturală şi luptă postcolonială pentru a explora modul în care memoria sclaviei continuă să aibă impact asupra societăţilor moderne. În primul rând, analiza descrie fundamentele sistemului american de sclavie şi formele de rezistenţă silenţioasă, întruchipate de personalităţi precum Sartdji, care sfidează structurile de dezumanizare. În continuare, cercetarea explorează ştergerea acestei eroine din istoria Americii pentru a arăta necesitatea reabilitării memoriei sale în cadrul luptelor actuale pentru egalitate şi reconciliere. În cele din urmă, studiul arată că Sartdji reprezintă o memorie vie și dinamică, folosită ca instrument de rezistenţă în luptele contemporane pentru justiţia socială. Articolul finalizează cu descrierea importanţei reintegrării amintirilor legate de Sartdji în naraţiunea istorică pentru a promova o reconciliere autentică şi o transformare social progresivă. Perspectivele viitoare de investigare a acestui subiect sunt legate de o explorare mai profundă a proceselor de reconciliere şi a formelor invizibile de rezistenţă, care sunt esenţiale pentru înţelegerea problemelor contemporane legate de inegalităţile rasiale şi sociale.
