К вопросу о мотивации употребления Л.Н. Толстым отдельных французских слов и лексико-грамматических структур в романе «Война и мир»

Abstract

The present paper deals with the problem of the French used by L. Tolstoi in “War and Peace”. It is an attempt to motivate the presence of a great number of French words used in the works of such a famous writer. The author comments on the linguistic contexts in which most French proper names, clichés and even whole dialogues are used. He also comments on the functions of French vocabulary used in the Russian text.

REZUMAT

În articol, se abordează problema motivării lexicului francez în romanul „Război şi pace” de L. Tolstoi. Se preci­zează contextele în care scriitorul întrebuinţează clişee, nume proprii, chiar şi dialoguri întregi în limba franceză. Sunt specificate şi comentate funcţiunile unităţilor de origine franceză în romanul menţionat.
